- Recent Achievements: I'm incredibly proud of our students' achievements this past quarter. Our debate team won the regional competition, showcasing their critical thinking and communication skills. The science club's innovative project on renewable energy earned them recognition at the state level. These accomplishments reflect the hard work and dedication of our students and teachers.
- New Initiatives: This term, we're launching several exciting initiatives. We're introducing a new coding program for students in grades 4-6 to enhance their technological skills. We're also starting a school garden project where students can learn about sustainable agriculture and healthy eating habits. Furthermore, we're implementing a peer mentoring program to foster a supportive and collaborative learning environment.

October 27th: School Fair
Join us for our annual school fair, featuring games, food, and fun activities for the whole family. It's a great opportunity to connect with other parents, students, and teachers. The fair will be held on the school grounds from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We'll have a variety of booths, including face painting, a dunk tank, and a silent auction. There will also be live music and entertainment throughout the day. All proceeds from the fair will go towards supporting school programs and initiatives. We hope to see you there!

November 15th & 16th: Parent-Teacher Conferences
Schedule a time to meet with your child's teacher to discuss their progress and address any concerns. Parent-teacher conferences are an important opportunity to collaborate and support your child's learning. Conferences will be held in the classrooms and will last approximately 20 minutes. Please sign up for a time slot that works best for you. Your child's teacher will be in contact with you to schedule your conference. We encourage all parents to attend these conferences to stay informed and involved in their child's education.

December 18th: Winter Concert
Enjoy a festive evening of music and performances by our talented students. The winter concert is a highlight of the school year and a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season. The concert will be held in the school auditorium at 7:00 PM. Our students have been working hard to prepare a variety of musical performances, including choral pieces, instrumental ensembles, and dance routines. We invite all parents, family members, and community members to attend this special event. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served.

- Community Sports Leagues: Sign up your child for a local sports league and encourage them to stay active and develop teamwork skills. There are a variety of sports leagues available for different age groups and skill levels.
- Volunteer Opportunities: Get involved in our community by volunteering your time at local organizations and events. There are many opportunities to give back and make a difference in the lives of others.
- School Uniform Policy: Please ensure your child adheres to the school uniform policy. Uniforms help create a sense of unity and pride in our school community. The school uniform consists of a navy blue polo shirt, khaki pants or shorts, and closed-toe shoes. Please refer to the school handbook for more details on the uniform policy.
- Attendance Policy: Regular attendance is crucial for academic success. Please notify the school office if your child is absent. Consistent attendance allows students to stay on track with their learning and participate fully in classroom activities. If your child is absent, please provide a written note or email to the school office explaining the reason for the absence.
- Safety Procedures: Review our school's safety procedures with your child to ensure they know what to do in case of an emergency. Safety is our top priority, and we want to ensure that all students are prepared in case of an emergency. We conduct regular drills to practice our safety procedures. Please discuss these procedures with your child and reinforce the importance of following instructions from school staff.

Sarah Johnson - Grade 5
Sarah is a model student who consistently demonstrates a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. She excels in all subjects and is always willing to help her classmates. Sarah's passion for learning is truly inspiring. Recently, Sarah won first place in the school's annual writing competition with her captivating short story about environmental conservation.
